On 8 September 2024, the “2024 Thai Festival in Mongolia” was organised at Prime Minister Tserendorj Street Ulaanbaatar by the Royal Thai Embassy, Beijing, and the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate, Ulaanbaatar, together with partners from the Thai and Mongolian private sectors.
The festival was well attended by over 2,000 Mongolian and international visitors throughout the day. Activities presented at the event included: stalls by Thai government organisations and the Thai/Mongolian private sector; selling of Thai food, fruits, and products; as well as Thai traditional dance performances by a troupe from the Lopburi College of Dramatic Arts (under the Bunditpattanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts) and Muay Thai performances by the Lannna Fighting Muay Thai.
Apart from showcasing Thailand’s culture, cuisine, products, and services to the wider Mongolian public, the festival this year was also part of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Mongolia this year.
