Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou to launch

Operation Center for Thais during Guangzhou Games 2010

                   The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou stands ready to welcome more than 800 Thai athletes and staff as well as Thai nationals who will soon arrive in Guangzhou and show the Asian nations Thailand’s team spirits during Guangzhou Games. With long-standing and close relations with the Guangdong province, the Royal Thai Consulate-General wishes to join the host city of Guangzhou in ensuring that the Thai nationals feel at ease while enjoying their experiences of the great Games in Guangzhou. During the 16^th Asian Games-12-27 November 2010) and the 10^th Asian Para Games-12-19 December 2010), the Consulate-General prepares to launch the 24-hour “Operation Center for Thais during Guangzhou Games 2010”.

                  Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Consul-General and Chief of the Center, intends to create the Center as a one-stop service to assist Thai nationals who may encounter emergency cases such as loss of their passports or unforeseen circumstances during their stay in Guangzhou. The Center will operate during two periods, namely between 9-30 November 2010 and 10-20 December 2010, with staff on duty 24 hours, providing assistance and recommendation.
