เมื่อวันที่ 24 – 26 สิงหาคม 2568 นายฉัตรชัย วิริยเวชกุล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงปักกิ่ง พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายเศรษฐกิจ ทั้งจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูต และหน่วยงานทีมประเทศไทย ได้แก่ สำนักงานพาณิชย์ในต่างประเทศ สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุน และสำนักงานที่ปรึกษาการเกษตรต่างประเทศ เยือนเขตปกครองตนเองมองโกเลียใน เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพและแสวงหาความร่วมมือด้านการค้าการลงทุนระหว่างไทยกับมองโกเลียใน รวมถึงสาขาเทคโนโลยีสีเขียว ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนโยบายโมเดลเศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ-เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน-เศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (BCG Economy Model) ของไทย เนื่องจากมองโกเลียในถือเป็น Green Power Bank ทางภาคเหนือของจีน เนื่องจากเป็นพื้นที่ดำเนินโครงการพลังงานลม แสงอาทิตย์ และไฮโดรเจนจำนวนมาก
From 24 – 26 August 2025, H.E. Mr. Chatchai Viriyavejakul, Ambassador of Thailand to China, led a delegation, comprising officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and economic-related offices, namely Commerce, Investment and Agriculture, to pay a visit to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The purpose of the visit was to explore the region’s potentials and enhance trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and Inner Mongolia, particularly in green technology, which aligns with Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model. Inner Mongolia is regarded as a “Green Power Bank” of Northern China as it is a hub for large-scale wind, solar, and hydrogen energy projects.
On this occasion, the Ambassador and his delegation also participated in the 5th China – Mongolia Expo, where the Ambassador reiterated Thailand’s readiness to strengthen trade and investment ties with Inner Mongolia. He outlined potential areas of cooperation, including (1) increasing exports of tropical fruits from Thailand; (2) enhancing connectivity between Inner Mongolia—an important gateway to Mongolia, Russia, and Central Asia—and Thailand, which serves as a gateway for Chinese businesses to the broader ASEAN market; (3) advancing cooperation in renewable energy and green technologies; (4) promoting agricultural technology to enhance food security; and (5) strengthening people-to-people exchanges through tourism, youth exchange programs, and sister city partnerships.
นอกจากนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตและคณะยังได้เข้าร่วมงาน China – Mongolia Expo ครั้งที่ 5 โดยเอกอัครราชทูตได้กล่าวย้ำความพร้อมที่จะขยายการค้าการลงทุนกับมองโกเลียใน รวมถึงการส่งออกสินค้าผลไม้จากไทยเพิ่มเติม ส่งเสริมความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างมองโกเลียในซึ่งเป็นจุดเชื่อมต่อสำคัญไปยังมองโกเลีย รัสเซีย และภูมิภาคเอเชียกลาง กับไทยซึ่งเป็นจุดเชื่อมต่อไปยังตลาดอาเซียน ผลักดันความร่วมมือด้านพลังงานหมุนเวียนและเทคโนโลยีสีเขียว เทคโนโลยีการเกษตรเพื่อส่งเสริมความมั่นคงทางอาหาร และการแลกเปลี่ยนระดับประชาชนผ่านการท่องเที่ยว การแลกเปลี่ยนเยาวชน และความสัมพันธ์เมืองพี่เมืองน้อง นอกจากนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตยังได้เชิญผู้แทนภาคเอกชนไทยสำคัญ 2 ราย ได้แก่ เครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์ และบริษัท บ้านปู จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมนำเสนอผลิตภัณฑ์สินค้าเกษตรและปศุสัตว์จากไทย และศักยภาพของบริษัทในด้านพลังงาน รวมถึงพลังงานสีเขียว ใน Thai Pavillion ของงาน Expo และเข้าพบผู้บริหารระดับสูงเขตฯ มองโกเลียใน เพื่อหารือเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมการลงทุนและการดำเนินธุรกิจของภาคเอกชนไทยในมองโกเลียใน
The Ambassador also invited two leading Thai companies already investing in China —CP Group and Banpu Company—to join the Expo to showcase Thailand’s agricultural products, as well as strengths in the energy sector, including green energy, at the Thai Pavilion. In addition, the Ambassador and Thai business representatives met with Inner Mongolia Vice Chairman to discuss concrete ways to further promote Thai private sector’s investment and business operations in the region.
